Marvel Super Hero Squad Galactus

October 10, 2012 // No Comments

One of my favorite toy lines over the last few years is the Marvel Super Hero Squad line and here is the Galactus figure from that line.

It’s been a while since this figure has been in the stores, but you should be able to find one online for around $40-$50.

Marvel Universe Galactus

July 9, 2012 // 3 Comments
With the Marvel Legends Silver Surfer and the Marvel Legends Build-A-Figure Terrax.

When you push the button on his chest, his eyes light up and he says:

“I am the devourer of worlds”
“Tremble at the might of the Power Cosmic”
“To me my heralds”
“You serve me now”
“Who is so ignorant as to confront Galactus?”
“You will witness the end, for I am power incarnate”
“Behold: The world eating machine”
“I hunger”
“Know me, mortal. Know me and know fear”
“So speaks Galactus”
“Who dares defy Galactus?”

Galactus Squinkie

Squinkies are dumb squat little rubber choking hazards, but check out how cool the Galactus one is…

It’s less than an inch tall and about half an inch wide. This one comes in a 12 pack of Marvel “Good vs Evil” Squinkies for $10 at Toys R Us. That’s right, I paid $10 just for this one dumb/awesome little thing. Not only that, but I had my brother use his fancy camera to take a professional photo of it. And it’s a beautiful picture too.

Heralds Of Galactus Minimates

November 29, 2011 // No Comments

I am not a fan of the Minimates figures. All of them I have ever bought have had problems staying in one piece and they don’t ever seem to stand up right. But of course I didn’t let that didn’t stop me from buying the new Heralds of Galactus Minimates boxed set ( $15 exclusively at Toys R Us)…

As far as minimates go, I like the look of this Galactus figure. I had to glue the leg to keep it from falling off every time I pick it up – and I wish it wasn’t the same size as the heralds that came with it, but I love having a small pocket-sized figure of my favorite character.
